The Executive Mayor of Mogale City, Lynn Pannall will join the Public Protector of South Africa, Adv. Thuli Madonsela at the 7th Annual National Good Governance Conference that will take place from the 5-6th October 2016 at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand.
The conference is held as part of the National Good Governance Week and is hosted by the Public Protector South Africa and the National Good Governance Forum.
“From the first day of our assumption of duty, we have committed ourselves to a mission of establishing a government of excellence, innovation and inclusion. This conference will provide us an opportunity to keep our eyes keenly on good governance so that we can make our municipality function optimally,” said the Executive Mayor.
The Executive Mayor will also attend a farewell dinner for the Public Protector Adv. Thuli Madonsela who finishes her seven-year term of office on the 15th October. The dinner will be held in the evening of the 5th October at the same venue.
“Advocate Thuli Madonsela is a phenomenal woman who held office with distinction. She has been a calm presence in a turbulent environment, making us believe in the correctness of our quest for the highest ideals. We are honoured to be afforded an opportunity to bid her farewell,” added the Executive Mayor.
