SALARY BAND: 6-5 (R352 068.00 - R439 656.00) PER ANNUM, EXCLUDING BENEFITS

Requirements:
LLB, plus General Management and or Leadership Programme. Four (4) years’ working experience in legal environment of local government or provincial/national.
Attributes:
Ability to work independently and as a team member. Excellent customer service orientation. Self-confidence. Ability to Litigate in Arbitration or Labour Court. Networking, negotiation and influencing abilities.

Arbitration process. Labour matters. Resolution of queries.

DEPARTMENT: INTEGRATED ENVIRONMETAL MANAGEMENT
DIVISION: BIODIVERSITY MANAGEMENT 
SUB DIVISION: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
POST: PRINCIPAL OFFICER (BIODIVERSITY)
SALARY BAND: 7-6 (R313 356.00 – R388 428.00) PER ANNUM EXCLUDING BENEFITS

Requirements:
National Diploma/ NQF Level 6 (240 Credits) in Environmental Management/Natural Sciences. 3 years working experience in Biodiversity/Conservation Environment, 1 year of which should be at Supervisory Level.

Key Performance Areas:
Office Support services. Control of all assets and personal safety equipment. Conduct Aquatic Bio monitoring within targeted river systems within Mogale City Local Municipality. Coordination of the Alien Eradication Programmes in Mogale City Local Municipality (Working-for-Water and Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development). Facilitation and coordinate Integrated Catchment & Water Resource Management.  Biodiversity & Conservation Management. Policies, systems and procedures implementation, monitoring and review. Report on performance of the section. Stakeholder Relations. Customer Service. Planning, Leadership, Controlling and Organising. Effective and efficient subordinates. Reporting. Adherence to corporate government within the section. Human resource management. Financial Management. Continuous improvement on service delivery. Knowledge and application of all applicable legislation, acts and by laws.

DEPARTMENT: COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
DIVISION: SPORT, ART, CULTURE AND RECREATION 
SUB DIVISION: LIBRARY SERVICES
POST: LIBRARIAN X10
SALARY BAND: 8-7 (R277 080.00 – 343 920.00) PER ANNUM EXCLUDING BENEFITS

Requirements:
National Diploma/ NQF Level 6 (240 Credits) in Library and Information Science. Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science will serve as an added advantage. The applicant should have at least three (3) years working experience in a Library Environment as a Senior Library Assistant or Library Assistant.
Attributes:
Must be proactive and creative and be able to communicate at all levels and be able to use own discretion in decision making. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Knowledge and application of all applicable legislation. Professional attitude with a good understanding and interpretation of Co-operative governance. Must be able to adapt to change.
Key Performance Areas:
Administration of library operations. Library collection management. Management of Bibliographic Control work. Cataloguing and Classification of library material according to RDA, DDC and AACR2. Marketing and promotion of library services. Outreach programmes coordination and implementation. Customer relations.  Stakeholder relations. Planning, Leadership, Controlling and organizing. Effective and efficient supervision of subordinates. Reporting. Adherence to corporate governance within the section. Human resource management. Financial management. Continuous improvement on service delivery.
