THE Municipality is aware of the fact that the swimming season started in September, but due to challenges experienced in the recruitment of suitable candidates (Lifesavers) for placement at the Kagiso Swimming Pool, the facility will remain closed until November 2011.

The risks involved in opening the pool without qualified and certified staff being in place can be grave.
