Executive Mayor's Message for Dikgang tsa Mogale Good governance and extension of democracy to our communities revolves around our ability to make time to share ideas and plan delivery programmes together with our residents. Mogale City prides itself that our programmes of service delivery are based on responding to real needs identified by communities and not dreamt of in our offices. The end of October and the whole of the November month will be spent in consultation with the various communities in the various wards of Mogale City municipality. The objective of the ward meetings is to give feedback on our Integrated Development Plan and to ensure that our programmes for the coming years are still in line with priorities set by the communities. I take pleasure in sharing our schedule with you as follows : May I request each and every member of the community to make use of their constitutional right to partake in local government affairs by attending these sessions and sharing their development plans for their wards with us, as the municipality. Take pride in how your city is run by positively contributing to its development through this consultative feedback session. Be counted as a citizen who has left a legacy for coming generations by demonstrating your civic responsibility in governance issues by coming to talk to us as we go through your ward. I look forward to fruitful discussions and debates on how we make this city a desirable place to live, invest and visit.
