New weighbridge at landfill site
1 April 2004
THE recently installed weighbridge at the Luipaardsvlei landfill site, the only approved landfill or dumping site in Mogale City, is now operational. All waste delivered to this site, which is situated off Windsor Road in the Luipaardsvlei area, will now be weighed and customers will be billed accordingly. No cash or coupons will be accepted at the site and accounts will be opened for all customers. However, residents who can prove residence in Mogale City by means of a recent water and lights account, will be allowed to dispose of their general and garden refuse free of charge The new tariffs for businesses are available on request at the site.
