The Office of the Speaker wishes a "Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year" to the Community of Mogale City and Officials of the Local Municipality.

I also want to appreciate the efforts made by officials and workers of providing efficient service delivery to the people of Mogale City, believing that through joint efforts and commitment we can still do better.

In the year 2006, we have experience a marathon of events which were solely aimed at pushing our mandate of service delivery. And as Mogale City Local Municipality, we also saw a need to introduce a new vision which ensures; "quality service delivery for all in Mogale City and a mission that says: To provide an integrated municipal governance system to improve the quality of life for all the communities of Mogale City.

And, let me also take this opportunity to introduce to you our Motto: Mogale City-City of Human Origin. However, with all the transformation and successes we've seen in 2006, we are fully prepared to make sure that we continue to push forward our mandate service delivery in the coming year.

Please take care of yourselves; we still want to be with you in the New Year! Therefore! Don't drink and drive because speed kills. Please support the 16 days of Activism and protect both women and children.
