CALL FOR DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS FOR MUNICIPAL LAND
Notice is whereby given in terms of Section 79 (18) of the Local Government Ordinance, 17 of 1939 and Section 14 (5) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, that Mogale City Local Municipality has resolved to make land available to suitable developers for the development of various portions of its land in the following areas:-
- Portions of the farm Paardeplaats
- Portions of the farm Witpoortjie
- Portions of the farm Rietvalei
- Portions of the farm Waterval
- Kagiso Ext 8
- Rangeview Ext 2
- Kenmare Ext 4, and
- Monument
A briefing session will be held at 12h30 on the 17th February 2006 in the Mayoral Chamber, 1st Floor, Civic Centre, Corner Market and Commissioner Streets, Krugersdorp at which session information on the available properties and other specifications will be disseminated.
The briefing session is compulsory to all those developers who whish to submit proposals. (Developers who did not attend the briefing session will be disqualified). The closing date for submission of proposals is 12h00 on the 10th March 2006 and must be lodged in a sealed envelope marked “LAND DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL CS (P) 04/2006” and deposited in a tender box at the LED Section, Civic Centre, West Wing, Corner Market and Commissioner Streets, Krugersdorp.
Any person wishing to lodge a comment or an objection regarding the proposed Land Availability may lodge such comment or objection in writing with the Municipal Manager within 21 days of date hereof at the above physical address or below mentioned postal address.
