Mogale City Local Municipality is aware that Noordheuwel, Kenmare, Factoria and Monument are experiencing water supply interruptions. This is because the Kenmare Reservoir is currently operating at half capacity following a reported fault at Rand Water’s Kenmare pump station.
As a contingency plan, the municipality has organised water tankers at the following areas while repairs are carried out:
- Noordheuwel Pick n’ Pay, corner Shannon and Bell Streets
- Kenmare Reservoir, Shannon Road
- Khosa Sports Club, corner Shannon and Frederick Cooper Road
City Power technicians are currently on site to restore power supply to the Kenmare pump station.
