Water supply interruption
Following an explosion at the Rand Water Eikenhof Pumping Station on Monday 27 August, water supply to consumers in some parts of Mogale City was affected.
We are aware that some parts of the city are experiencing low water pressure or have no water supply at all. Please note that this is due to Rand Water reservoirs in most parts of Johannesburg operating at low levels, which in turn affects water pressure and supply in parts of the West Rand.
Residents are urged to reduce consumption to immediate household use only to allow reservoirs to slowly fill-up.
