Mogale City Local Municipality Licensing and Registration wishes to inform it’s residents and those preferring to do their vehicle licensing, registration or related matters at the Mogale City centre that no cash transactions are presently being done at the centre.

After experiencing a distasteful robbery in the early morning hours of 3 December 2019, the centre has opted to at this point not to accept cash and going forward is also considering a total cashless environment – this once confirmed will be communicated to the public.

“It is for the safety of our residents, people we serving and our staff that the Municipality has in the interim decided operate within a cashless. We therefore urge the public to please use alternative methods of payment for effecting of their licensing and related transactions”, said Mr. Mokete Lethetsa, Manager for Licensing in Mogale City.

With the December holiday season also moving into full swing where travel patterns are on the increase, the public is encouraged to note this communique and further reminded of being responsible citizens by complying with Road Safety regulations.
