As of 1 July 2019, Mogale City Local Municipality’s annual tariff increase came into effect to mark the beginning of the municipality’s new financial year. Municipal tariffs are reviewed and increased annually by a determined percentage in line with budget guidelines and as also determined by suppliers such as Eskom, Rand Water, etc. These increases contribute to the running of the municipality and ensure continuous service provision to all the residents of Mogale City.
The new hikes will be levied at the end of August 2019.
