Mogale City Local Municipality hereby notifies consumers that tariff increases came into effect on 1 July 2020 to mark the beginning of the municipal financial year.
These increases will reflect on consumers’ accounts at the end of this month.
2020/21 tariffs increase summary:
- Electricity increased by 6.22%
- Water increased by 6.6%
- Sanitation increased by 6.6%
- Refuse removal increased by 6%
- No increase on property rates and a special Covid-19 rebate of -10% has been approved for all rate payers
