On 27 September 2021, notice was given in terms of Section 78(1) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No.6 of 2004), hereinafter referred to as the “Act”, that the Supplementary Valuation Roll for the financial year 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021 was open for public inspection at Mogale City Local Municipality from 20 September 2021 to 15 November 2021. In addition, the supplementary valuation roll and the objection forms were made available on the website.
Due to the aforesaid seven-day delay, the Supplementary Valuation Roll could not be perused by all property owners therefore the period for perusing the roll and objecting thereto is extended to 17 January 2022.
