After months of isolation, economic anxiety and pandemic fatigue, most families yearn for a safe and affordable tranquil family escape. Whether for fishing, a braai or a picnic or relaxed outing Krugersdorp’s Coronation Park is the perfect spot.
Members of the public that wish to spend Christmas Day, Day of Goodwill or New Year’s Day enjoying the outdoor and relaxed atmosphere at the park are advised to purchase their entry tickets a day or two before the public holiday as municipal offices will be closed on those days. Tickets can be purchased on weekdays from our revenue offices (cashiers) located at the corner of Commissioner and Market Streets in the CBD or any other municipality cashiers point in Mogale City.
Entry fees are as follows:
- R22.00 for adults
- R17.00 children
- Free for all kids below the age of 5 years
No tickets are sold at the gate.
While security personnel will manage the number of people entering the park to avoid potential overcrowding, visitors are also urged to adhere to Covid-19 regulations by wearing masks, practising social distancing and sanitising.
