Mogale City’s Waste Management Division firstly wishes to apologise to residents and businesses affected by the non-provision of refuse collection services on scheduled days commencing last week Thursday, 28 April until Wednesday, 4 May 2022 due to a labour dispute.
Affected parties are advised to kindly take note that waste collection resumed today, 5 May 2022. However due to the workload, we must stick to our normal schedule for the remainder of the week to avoid further backlog.
This therefore means that areas not serviced from Monday to Wednesday will only be covered in the upcoming week and we urge affected residents to keep their refuse bins in their yards until next week.
We apologise once again for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
